🍞Cheesy Corn Casserole🧇
A rich and creamy side dish made with tender corn kernels, cream, and melted cheese, baked to a golden-brown perfection on top. This casserole is ideal for family gatherings and holiday dinners.
✅️ Ingredients:
2 cups of corn (fresh or canned; if canned, make sure to drain well)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a cheese blend of your choice)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
✅️ Instructions:
1️⃣. Prepare the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2️⃣. Mix the Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn, heavy cream, milk, melted butter, and flour. Stir until the ingredients are well mixed.
Add salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using), and mix again.
3️⃣. Add the Cheese:
Stir in half of the shredded cheese into the mixture.
4️⃣. Bake:
Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and spread the remaining cheese evenly on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cheese has melted beautifully.
6️⃣. Serve:
Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
Garnish with chopped parsley (optional) and serve warm.
