🦞🥩 Filet Mignon with Shrimp and Lobster Cream 🧄🧈

✅️ Ingredients

For the Filet Mignon:

4 filet mignon steaks (6 oz each) 🥩

Salt and pepper to taste 🧂

2 tbsp olive oil 🫒

2 tbsp butter 🧈

2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄

For the Shrimp and Lobster Cream Sauce:

1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined 🦐

1/2 lb lobster meat (fresh or frozen), chopped 🦞

1 cup heavy cream 🥛

1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth) 🍷

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 🧀

2 tbsp butter 🧈

1 tbsp garlic, minced 🧄

1 tsp lemon juice 🍋

Salt and pepper to taste 🧂

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌱

✅️ Instructions

For the Filet Mignon:

Prepare the Steaks:

Pat the filet mignon steaks dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Steaks:

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. (For medium-rare, cook to an internal temperature of 130°F.)

Add Butter and Garlic:

In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks to infuse extra flavor. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest while you make the sauce.

For the Shrimp and Lobster Cream Sauce:

Cook the Shrimp and Lobster:

In the same skillet, add the shrimp and lobster meat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they are just cooked through and turn pink. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Cream Sauce:

In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth), scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Add the Cream:

Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Finish the Sauce:

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Shrimp and Lobster:

Return the cooked shrimp and lobster to the pan, stirring gently to coat them in the creamy sauce.

To Serve:

Place the rested filet mignon steaks on plates and top with the shrimp and lobster cream sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley for a beautiful touch.

Enjoy your Filet Mignon with Shrimp and Lobster Cream — a decadent, restaurant-quality dish that will impress any guest! 🦞🥩🧄🧈
